Bespoke production from Julie Zann

About

Meet Julie

Over a billion people have seen Julie’s work.  Including you.

Julie Zann is an Emmy-nominated, veteran journalist with over 18 years of experience across more than 70 programs, who interviews the world’s most influential people and covers the stories that define her generation.  She has worked with and for royalty and heads of state around the world.  Julie opened Zann Media in 2016, a consultancy firm focusing on casting, talent booking, television, film, and event producing.

At CNN, Julie was a Producer for their global primetime feature interview program, Piers Morgan Live, and a Producer at CNN Tonight, hosted by Don Lemon.  She’s produced hundreds of notable interviews, including interviews with every living President of the United States.  But when push comes to shove, her favorite interview was her hour feature with George Clooney.  Julie’s film work includes John Lewis: Good Trouble, Merkel, and The 4%, a film on gender inequality in Hollywood.  She has also worked for CBS Sports, NBC, ABC, PBS, A+E Networks, Netflix, Amazon, HBO, HBO Max, FOX News, MSNBC, History, Discovery, National Geographic, AMC, Showtime, Comedy Central, The Military Channel, USA Today, Funny or Die, Epix, Vanity Fair, Vice, Paramount+, CBS All Access, CBS Sports/Super Bowl 50 & Super Bowl LIII, and Thursday Night Football on CBS.

Additionally, Julie has also produced elite live events including The New York Times DealBook Summit, the Bloomberg Global Business Forum, and the Future Investment Initiative in Saudi Arabia.

What defines her ability to produce memorable and poignant interviews, including true globally exclusive interviews, are the lengths to which she goes to develop long-standing relationships and forge deep bonds of trust between her subjects.  While the nature of her business is often to capitalize on people during the most trying times in their lives, Julie considers herself a shepherd, looking not to find a way out, but rather – a way through.  This method has elicited a rare trust in telling sensitive stories, and carries beyond the borders of a particular media outlet.

Julie lives with her husband, Michael Cornacchia, who she of course, met while pursuing a story.
